Baeksang Arts Awards ke-58 memberikan penghargaan untuk program televisi, film, dan teater terbaik tahun ini.
Pada 6 Mei, Baeksang Arts Awards ke-58 digelar di Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX), Ilsan. Acara ini dipandu oleh Shin Dong Yup, Suzy, dan Park Bo Gum untuk lima tahun berturut-turut. Meskipun Park Bo Gum tak dapat hadir tahun lalu karena sedang menjalankan wajib militer, acara ini menjadi aktivitas pertamanya sejak resmi bebas tugas.
Piala Grand Prize untuk film diberikan kepada sutaradara Ryu Seung Wan untuk “Escape from Mogadishu”, yang juga membawa pulang penghargaan Best Film. Dalam kategori televisi, Grand Prize diberikan kepada “Squid Game”, yang mana sutradara Hwang Dong Hyuk dan pengarah musik Jung Jae Il juga memenangkan Best Director dan Best Art Direction.
Untuk kategori film, Sol Kyung Gu dari “King Maker” membawa pulang penghargaan Best Actor, sementara Lee Hye Young diberikan penghargaan Best Actress untuk perannya di “In Front of Your Face”.
“Best Drama” diberikan kepada “D.P”, yang juga memberikan penghargaan Best Supporting Actor kepada Jo Hyun Chul dan Best New Actor untuk Goo Kyo Hwan. Sementara pemenang untuk TV Actor Awards adalah Lee Junho 2PM untuk “The Red Sleeve” dan Kim Tae Ri untuk “Twenty Five, Twenty One”.
