Pada 26 November 26, Melon Music Awards (MMA)—yang diselenggarakan oleh platform musik No.1 di Korea, Melon—digelar dengan dihadiri oleh penonton untuk pertama kalinya dalam tiga tahun!
Kurang dari satu tahun sejak debut, IVE berhasil membawa pulang piala Daesang (Grand Prize) pertama dalam karier mereka, yakni penghargaan Best Song of the Year untuk lagu hit “LOVE DIVE”. Girl group pendatang baru ini total meraih empat penghargaan. Selain piala Best Song of the Year, IVE juga memenangkan penghargaan Best Group (Wanita), New Artist of the Year, dan Top 10 Artist.
Sementara itu, Lim Young Woong meraih dua piala Daesang tahun ini, yakni Artist of the Year dan Album of the Year (untuk album perdana “IM HERO”). Penyanyi trot ini memenangkan total lima penghargaan: Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Solo Artist (Pria), Netizen Popularity Award, dan Top 10 Artist.
Sementara, BTS memenangkan piala Daesang keempat, yakni Record of the Year, untuk album antologi “Proof”. Mereka total membawa pulang empat penghargaan: Record of the Year, Best Group (Pria), KakaoBank Everyone’s Star Award, dan Top 10 Artist.
